Whom do they work for?

Political leaders of the last decade do not seem to be great social and political thinkers.
Many people are convinced that they mainly are the servants of a huge worldwide money system.
Just think about those that have dominated the headlines in the last 3 decades:
Ronald Reagan,
Margareth Thatcher,
George Bush Sr
George W, Bush,
Helmut Kohl,
Silvio Berlusconi,
Tony Blair,
Alexander Lukaschenko,
Michel Sarkozy,
Angela Merkel,
Vladimir Putin,
José Manuel Barroso,
Dmitry Medvedev,
Zine El Abidine Ben Ali,
...
a sad List isn't it. What have they done to improve the situation of the ordinary people; People that do not want more than to rise a normal family? We wonder what they think what history will record about them?
Never in history has mankind produced as many goods, never has there been as much money turning as fast but thanks to a political system that our leaders do not want to question the majority of people even in the western countries live in a very precarious situation and a highly uncertain future. And the Barosos and Merkels even keep on telling them that they will have to make sacrifices ...

Are we really heading towards a better future with today's stateleaders?

This is the start of the blog called Social Issues on the Web.

Our aim is to start a discussion about the future of a planet that is dramatically drifting towards flagrant injustice, splitting the world into a few rich people that own 80% of the assets of this planet and 80% percent of the world population that owns nothing or so few that they do not know what to live from tomorrow.
We think that over the last 35 years the political class has completely failed. They have ended up just being the servants of what Frank Aldwinson calls the "Kleptocapitalism" (Frank Aldwinson: Dr. Money und Mister Crime - german essay 1994)

The best comments and ideas will be published on our website  webnovum .net .
- webnovum .net has been created in 2006 as a new kind of webpresence to foster political change. -

Welcome to all friends interested in positive change.
